About

Our Story

In early 2020 — the year nobody planned for anything — we started bottling a Bloody Mary mix on a kitchen counter in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

It wasn't supposed to be a business. It was a recipe we'd been making at home for years, the kind of thing you bring to brunch and someone always asks for the bottle. With everything closed and Sundays getting longer, we figured: let's just see if anyone else wants this.

They did.

Within a few months, jars were shipping to all 50 states. People posted about it on social media — tagged us, sent in photos of their porch setups, their tailgates, their slightly regrettable mornings. The internet, it turned out, really wanted a Bloody Mary mix that didn't taste like a thin, watery, sad version of itself.

We leaned in. Hired a copacker. Kept the recipe the same. Kept answering the emails.

What we've won

  • 3× Platinum Medal — Drunken Tomato Awards (2022, 2023, 2024)
  • People's Choice — NYC Bloody Mary Festival, 2026
  • Most-followed Bloody Mary mix brand on Twitter
  • 92% five-star reviews on our flagship Spicy mix

The Drunken Tomato is the most competitive Bloody Mary mix competition in the world — blind taste judging by industry pros. Three years in a row is hard. NYC People's Choice is voted by humans at the festival. Both feel pretty good.

What we make

Three flavors. 32oz jars. Small batch. Real ingredients — clam juice, anchovies, fresh-squeezed lemon, the spices that matter, no shortcuts.

  • Spicy. The 3× Platinum winner. Heat with restraint.
  • Traditional. The original recipe. The one that started it all.
  • Mild. For the friend who insists they don't like Bloody Marys — until they try this one.

Where we make it

Still Lancaster, PA. Still small-batch. We still answer our own emails — reply to any one and you'll hear back from a real person.

Sundays are made for sitting outside with a cold Bloody in your hand. We just make the mix that's worth showing up for.
